Privacy-first design in everything we do
We never ask for personal information. No email, no phone number, no registration.
All clipboard content is temporary. Rooms expire automatically, and data is permanently deleted.
Optional PIN protection encrypts your room. Only users with the PIN can access the content.
We don't store your clipboard content after room expiration. Everything is deleted automatically.
When you create a room and share content, we temporarily store that content in memory and/or a database to enable real-time synchronization across your devices. This content is automatically deleted when the room expires (typically after 24 hours of inactivity).
We collect minimal technical information necessary for the service to function, including: room codes, connection timestamps, device count per room, and basic error logs for debugging purposes. We do NOT collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or any personally identifiable information.
We do not collect: personal information (name, email, phone), payment information, browsing history, location data, device identifiers, or any tracking cookies.
Your shared content is used solely to provide the clipboard sharing service. We synchronize your content across devices connected to the same room in real-time.
Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (like total number of rooms created) may be used to improve the service. These statistics contain no personally identifiable information.
We monitor for abuse and security threats to protect our service and users. This includes detecting spam, malicious content, or attempts to exploit the service.
All rooms expire automatically after a period of inactivity (default: 24 hours). Once a room expires, all associated content is permanently deleted from our systems.
You can leave a room at any time, which removes your device from the room. When the last device leaves a room, the room and all its content are immediately deleted.
We do not maintain backups of your clipboard content. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.
You can protect your room with a PIN. When enabled, content is encrypted, and only users with the correct PIN can access the room.
Our servers are hosted on secure, reputable cloud infrastructure with regular security updates and monitoring.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. Your activity on One Click Paste is not shared with any third parties.
Our service is hosted on cloud infrastructure providers. These providers may have access to server logs and technical data as part of their hosting services, but they do not have access to your clipboard content.
You have complete control over your data. You can leave a room at any time to stop sharing content, and you can close your browser to disconnect from the service.
Since we don't require accounts, there are no user profiles to manage or delete. Your usage of One Click Paste is anonymous by design.
We believe in transparency. If you have questions about how your data is handled, please contact us.
One Click Paste is designed for general use and does not specifically target children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used our service, please contact us.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
